Im looking to buy a state, and I was wondering if the 2006 is a better buy for the cost, or if I should go for the 2005 model. Also, how much weight difference is there between the bio2 and the L7? Thanks for the help.

I bought the 05 state 140 and i like it. The bindings that came on the board are i think a 7 to 10 size but they fit fine and i wear a 11 1/2. The board rides smooth in choppy water and has nice pop. Good intermediate board.

Same board 05 to 06...so is the new graphic worth the dollars? But food for thought...the bindings changed, try them on somewhere.

If you're buying the package go with the 2006 for sure. Bindings are much better.

Just buy the board and get a good set of bindings. The State bindings BLOW.

The boards are the same........Different graphics only. The board is good for beginner to the best. I feel it is Hyperlite's best board released to date.

I picked up an 05 w/bindings last week on EBAY for $250 out the door! Rides great. I can only compare the State bindings to CWB Mobes...not much difference for my level of riding.
