Maybe they get better traction in the water?

This so no one, and mean no one can steal my boat!

Mad Max in Thunderwake, rated PG-13.

The snap in carpet keeps blowing out going down the highway.

Dummy, you didn't use the stainless steal screws.

No problem, this should buff out.

Sweet!

I had a buddy who installed a depth gauge in his Maristar a few years ago. MC's have a foil liner in the bilge to keep any gas/oil away from the fiberglass. You supposed to use a 3" holesaw the same size as the depth gauge puck (remove the drill bit in the middle first) to "score" the surface of the bilge, then just peel the foil away. Then glue the puck in that spot. Well he "scored" it alright..... all the way down to the CARPET in the trailer bunk!!

DOH!!

"Guy, when i said i wanted cleats for the boat. This is NOT what i meant!"

"I'm sorry sir, stupidity is not covered in our service guarantee to you"

"3M 5200 caulk, because you're an idiot."

"Honey, when did you install a hot tub?"

"Damn it! i didn't even get the screws straight!"

Probably some genius trying to screw his fat sac in place to keep it from rolling around!
Regardless of what this individual was trying to screw down, I can't imagine what he or she felt like upon jumping out of the boat and discovering unfortunate mishap.

Stuff happens, wish I had pics of what I did with my old Ultimate.

I had a 21' ultimate tunnel bottom and one day getting the boat ready to go to the lake the foot throttle came loose so I grabbed my Hilti and a 3" wood lag bolt and put two of thoose down, after all the little 3/4" screws always came loose. Well next day at the launch ramp we couldn't get the boat off the trailer! I bolted the boat down to the trailer! It happens, you learn from your mistakes and move on. I of course fixed it perfectly while at the lake, cut off the part that hung to low and smeared some JB Weld over it! lol
