Anyone Broken a foot landing on top of the wake?

I think I did. Its swollen up, and I cant walk on it.

My son did a couple years ago. He was 18 at the time. I told him to tough it out that it was just a sprain. After 3 days it turned black and swelled up, he could not put any weight on it. Went for an x-ray and then had to have surgery.

My wife did landing out in the flats...actually broke 3 of her metatarsals...put her on crutches for 4 months. She thought it was just a sprain too...yanked her foot out of the boot and tried to hobble around until I forced her to go into the hospital the next day. If it were me, even if it didn't end up being busted, I'd rather waste a copay on a doctor's visit but have some peace of mind instead of wondering if it was broken.

No, but I did break my foot tripping over 1st base in a softball game.....

BUT I was told the same thing, walk it off you're fine. It didn't swell, bruise or anything. There was a little bump where it was broke on the inside of my foot but I couldn't put any pressure on it at all. Finally went into the ER the next morning after hopping around to a football game and a party that same night. Took 9 months for mine to heal, BUT I didn't stay off of it, wakeboarded, played softball, etc. I had a cast 2 different times, months apart. Cruthes got reaaaaly old. Good luck!
