We officially kick off our 2006 wakeboarding season with our first event this coming weekend.
Lake Isle (45 min West of Edmonton) hosted by West Side Riders Wakeboard School.
June 17 and 18th we will be holding our version of a spring ride. It's a free ride based idea, where you're invited to bring your boat, the people you ride with, just show up, and have some fun.
The cost associated with this event is $40 plus $20 for your WSWA membership (unless of course you're already a member). Cost will be used for a barbeque, t-shirts, and to reimburse those who show up with boats some gas money. If you're bringing a boat, give us a heads up if you're willing to take on some extra people without rides.
For Demoing Westside Riders wakeboard school will have Hyperlite wakeboards, and the oppurtunity to ride behind their Tige 22 VE.
We'll also be holding a $2 raffle for prizes with this event.
Camping is available at a few locations for those that want to stay overnight.
