they are supposed to be around 5 pounds. there is a picture of a fly board hanging on a scale on the alliance website in the surf expo article and it says 5 pounds.

Quick question. What are the pros and cons of having one of these really light boards?

1st off Princess Bride is one of the best movies ever. 2nd, I noticed they categorize the regular Lyman as Intermediate/Advanced and the Fly as advanced. Is it the price or the weight loss that allows it to drop the Intermediate tag?

First of all, Brett is right about his review of the PB....great flick!

Secondly...ummmm...I hate to kill the vibe (and come off as a total homo d-bag)....but isn't his name "Inigo"?

it is Inigo Montoya, and not Diego.

and I was hoping they were going to go back to the original Fly graphics from the mid 90's. those boards rocked!

what does 5.9lbs have to do with the Princess Bride?

Chris, I assume the weights you're posting represent the Fly series, how do they compare to the regular version?

Does it bother anyone else when they are climbing up the rope on the cliff and they are hauling tail, but then they zoom in and they are hardly moving? That part drives me crazy!

Funny, I always assumed that PB meant Parks Bonifay to the wake community.
