i just used this kite thing this weekend..check out the vid on sportsstuff.com....honestly it was one of the hardest things ever..it doesnt float like you think...its really no fun and u cant hang onto it in the boat...great idea for non windy days but a big pain in the ass

Dave, I was thinking the exact same thing. You're not a Pro until you go down before the cam does! (kind of like that guy in Starship Troopers!) LOL

That's just great . . . can you visualize driving up or down Vic and all of a sudden having some guy sail over the levee and into your boat or rider on that thing? Cardiac arrest for an old guy like me! I'd imagine the company making those must have a battery of lawyers! (Is that skull/crossbones on the bottom supposed to be the warning label?)

man, i hate tubes and would never come near one of those things. all it takes is a bad or inexperienced driver and you're quickly in a lot of pain or dead (i had a couple broken ribs to vouch for that). if i can't control it, i want no part in it

I got to ride one last weekend. I didn't really want to ride it, but I didn't think I'd get the opportunity again for a long time, so I did. I rode it, I flew, I crashed a couple times, I bailed a couple times.... I won't be riding it again.

Anyway, awesome video!!!! Is anyone gonna try to figure out how high he got using a frame from the video and scale of the rider? ...just an idea, I've seen people post calculations of heighth in the past, figured this could be a fun application
