I was wondering what people's thoughts were one these two boats? Let me know which you think is better and why.

Thanks

Love them both! The Wakesetter has a classier feeling interior and the X has a more modern feeling interior.

Both wakes are awesome with some additional weight, but the Wakesetter with the wedge and factory ballast is almost enough wihtout any additional where the X's factory ballast wasn't enough. The dealer here will plumb additional ballast into the X though for a total of 2400lbs, with which the wake is excellent!

If you like a longer transition and smooth ramp, then the Wakesetter is the choice. If you like a slightly steeper wake with more buck then the X is your choice.

They are alot different in terms of "feel" though and you really should drive and ride behind both. You may want to test a Super Air as well, just gives you a little more bargaining power with the other dealers and it is a great boat as well. Good luck, you will love either one!

The wakesetter interior is much-much larger and the storage is much larger with better access.

The x-2 wake is more steep.

I recently had the same delema and chose the VLX over the Mastercraft. Both boats were awsome but I felt the malibu's overall layout and drivers ergonomics were much better. To name a few: The interior space was bigger, driver's seat swivels, larger self draining ice chest, storage, table, wind block and center bow cushion come std.. Test drive both, I thought the Mastercraft took much more muscle to track staight and manuever. Good luck.
