Boat Buying Advice

My Hubby Reluctantly, sold his boat 7 years ago so we could afford to get married, buy a house and have kids. He was recently diagnosed with Cancerand going through chemo. I have some money saved up about $20,000 ish. I want to buy him another boat but know nothing about them. He is an amazing waterskier who basically quit 2 years ago when he discoverd wakeboarding. He is quite good and getting better. Can I find a clean used boat 98-2002 for both within my budget. What info do I need to know. Finally am i better to wait till fall, will prices drop dramatically.Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks all.

Sorry to hear about your husband. Hopefully he pulls through OK. I think you will be able to get an 98-00 wakeboard boat for that price. You ask that question and you will get a million different answers. Just finished arguing about this topic in another thread. Everyone will try and pump their own boat. Just stick to whats in your price range. Your right boat will come along. I like Nautiques, Mastercraft and nautiques were the innovators with wakeboard boats. All the other manufacturers have caught up too. I wouldnt wait until fall to get a boat, your time with your husband may be shortened so I would not plan so far in the future. Dont mean to upset you, just talking realisticly. It might help him get through kemo a bit easier too. Good luck.
