I just bought a Supra 20SSV from AWS in Portland. Great boat, even better dealership.

We have started to wakesurf more regularly now that we have a new boat. We've added a 750 lb bag to both sides, which appears to fill up to about 600 lbs. We are running with the left bag filled as full as possible, and also have an additional 70 of stuff under the left rear seat (anchor, battery jump thing, anchor). I end up driving, and all the others who normally go sit on the left side, usually about 400 lbs of human weight.

Ive messed with the front sack anywhere from completely full to 1/3 full. Speed seems best around 10.6.

Wake is washed out, not very long.

What speed do you guys recommend?

What effects does the wake plate have on the wake, ie, down versus up?

I've thought of adding additional ballast under front seats. Spencer at AWS has some bags that will fit and put another 250 pounds or so up in the nose.

Any tips?

Get your wake plate all of the way up. You will have a longer pocket when the middle sac is full and there is no ballast on the starboard side. Get all of the people in the boat as far back on the port side as possible.

So wake plate up means nose down?

No, wakeplate up means stern goes down.
