Best handle?

I'm looking to buy a new handle... I want a comfortable handle thats not going to give me blisters, with a T bar or V handle further down, and something that isn't going to break the bank. Ideas? I like what I read about the proline LG but it doesn't seem like you can get a T/V option with it?

Check out the murray handle or the premier handle if they still make it. It contours your fingers and its comfy

They have similar leather grip handles with cheater grips. The link is to a handle/spectra line combo for $75. I just ordered it myself and it hasn't arrived yet so I can't say if I like the handle as much as the Proline LG (which I like a lot), but I've been very impressed with other Bullet handles/ropes I've used in the past. Just my $.02

As much as I like the new Murray handle, my buddies has been ridden less than 10 sets and the grip is coming apart. Use the Proline Synthesis, similar type grip, soft and durable.

I have 6-7 sets on my Catalyst and it coming apart, same happened to my LG, and our premier. Has anyone tried one of the Straight Lines with the interchangeable handles?

I have a SL changeable and I hate it.
Its super durable but it eats your hands. Worst grip ever. Once they get wet they get hard.

My catalyst handle is coming apart as well after only one season of use. $125 for a handle that doesn't even last one season.....

I have a Straighline ARi and just got an LG. The bridle on the Straightline is great, pretty much like a carbon with no handle roll and great flotation, but the grip (ameoba) is rough on the hands. So far no complaints with the LG, but I can see the leather stretching out and the handle sinking becoming an issue down the road.

I have had my LG for less than a year and the grip is already stretched out. Time for a new one, possibly the LF Watson.

Pretty much anything by straightline will last forever ! but beat the living crap out of your hands. Just look for anything wrapped in neopreme and your set dude

i tried the new gator leather wrap handle. it felt better than the lg...and you guys know how much i like the lg handle!

Schuey, Either The Premier Handle Or The ONE/Totem Loop Handle. If it doesn't come w/ a T grip you can buy one from BuyWake.com it's made by straightline, But if you get the one handle you can add the T grip. I recieved the one handle for Christmas w/ no T grip, bought the straightline add on, but its about 10 feet up from the hamdle so I can't ever reach it.

I like my pro line handle... the baseball grip one. I just don't like how the grip gets kinda loose when its wet. It looks like turkey skin or something.

I did like it anyway, my buddy got his arm caught in it today and bent it in half, almost broke his wrist but he ended up with a contusion (sp?) not a break.

I've got a bullet lines handle. I've got the all white one. I got it in December and prolly ridden with it 15-20 times and no problem. When the handle gets wet its super tacky which is great, very comfy. the only problem is it doesn't float so I'm going to tape some noodle foam to it or something.

Check out the "North" handle by Ronix. I used it a few times last summer and loved it, so now I have it for this season. It looks like baseball leather, and when it gets wet, it becomes almost sticky. its far from slippery when riding, that is why i like it so much...you can see it on their webiste.....ronixwake.com

I second the ronix totem handle. it has a "memory foam-like" material in it that makes it super soft. It has multiple little bumps on it and it is supper grippy too

Got the new murray handle a couple of months ago, haven't had a chance to ride with it yet but I think it looks great!

I have had several, Murray -real nice, shane - did not like, accuate - OK. I have had the pro-line carbon, it is 17" and a very good feel.

I am riding Helium's new leather handle and love it! Plus it floats.

To the guy who was thinking of getting a Watson handle up above.

Unless they made some serious changes to it for the 08 (I have an 07 one), I wouldn't recommend the thing. I mean, I like it, and it's probably my favorite handle that I've used, but it eats my hands (lots of blisters if I haven't ridden with it in a week or two), and the foam started coming off at the seam within three our four sets with it, which is just frustrating. I mean, I love the shape of the handle, and the grip's great, but that darn thing gets kind of hard after being in the water and if your hands aren't ready for it, it'll get them good...

+1 for Ronix Totem. best handle ever in my opinion. So comfortable. No blisters and holds up great. I have one season on mine and it feels brand new.

RONIX NORTH 08 w/ floats.

Both of these handles are the •••••••• really like the triangle grip of the team so that is what I got. I Really like the the north too, one of my buddies has had it for at least a year and it is still in great shape. My team is 2 years old and in great shape as well. Both of the handles are availible with some type of cheater handle.

I choose my handles greatly on how they will last and how comfy they are. From there it doesn't matter if it is carbon or has some rope winder or memory foam or whatever. In the past I had a helium that broke quick, a SL ARI that broke quickly and when I tried a replacement grip it fit poorly and was returned, I also had an accurate carbon handle that the grip peeled up on fairly quickly. I am not hard on my gear but I use it like it should be used and was glad to finally find a coulple diff handles that last. The best part is they are not the most expensive handles on the market.
