It's me, of course, Liz!!

I'm in...my Girlie's home state! Gotta go! I know Susan is in also from Austin. I hope she recovers from the broken foot in time to throw her backroll!! IF not, she'll have to save it for Worlds!

CeCe....get that knee fixed once and for all!! Sorry that you can't ride and I do hope to see you in OKC or if you come to Worlds!

Kat -- I'll need some help too. No contest run, but I'll be there nonetheless!

And I'm looking forward to seeing Susan's backroll . . . I know she's pretty excited about it!

No worries, Girlfriend...I'd be happy to help you too! lol

Susan - no pressure. You might have to bring out the TS BR too!

Old     (polhamus)      Join Date: Sep 2006       06-29-2009, 5:09 PM Reply
Hey Kat remember that time...... I called you Kate!
Old     (wakekat15)      Join Date: Jul 2005       06-29-2009, 7:44 PM Reply
lol, Kim! Don't call me Kate!

Susan broke her foot when catching the nose on an under-rotated backroll. She's been going out with Billy G there in Austin and was riding a lot. She'll try most anything, but may be a bit gun shy on that one now!}

Great to hear you will join us next year, Donna!

Here is a link to the footage we got in Oklahoma. It was great to see how well everyone is progressing their riding. I especially enjoyed Liz's fashion air!

Thanks, Allsion and assuming the videographer was Kim or Anton...thanks to you too!

Kim - how about 25 to 35 mph winds? It was lovely! Oh, and very hot!!

Wow Allison...that was great. The music couldn't have been better. And thanks Kim or Anton.

Kat...Don't forget the 40mph gusts!!!

Kim...first part was semis...second finals...you can see how windy it was....the spray was in your face.

I had such a good time with all of you. It was a great week.

Kim - holding the rope was a major challenge for all of us on the final day with horrible 35+ mph wind. The wakeskaters were falling either cutting into the wake or simply because their feet were jittering off the board due to the chop. While I know that Kat has an amazing tantrum it would have been dangerous for her to even think about throwing it that second day. Fortunately for the more advanced riders- the wind settled down a bit as the day went on. I guess I can now say that I have an idea what it would be like to try to wakeboard in a washing machine. It was brutal!

Kat - nice job getting in the paper. Maybe someone can photoshop it, making your arm longer so that you are actually grabbing the board! Bad timing on the photogs part but they probably didn't "get it."

I am sorry, i know it was probably dangerous. but I meant to throw it for semi's. I didnt see it on the video.

No worries - the pictures do not do the conditions any justice!

I was a bit conservative in Semi's...I was afraid Susan was gonna go off 2 days out of her cast! Will throw it at semi's in World's assuming no ocean waves knock me down first!

I am riding with Susan yesterday & she shocks me with a TS BR attempt at the end of a run that included no w2w jumps! She is Cra-Cra!!!
