Picking up the 10-22 today......Been waiting so long! Girlfriend organized one large birthday gift from everyone instead of a bunch of smaller ones. Can't wait!

I plan on going out tonight to take a few to compare the different FOV in comparison to my current walk-around lens...I'll post them up

I bet you'll love it. I went in to buy the 10-22 a few months ago and ended up getting the Tokina 11-16 f2.8. It was a bit cheaper and I love it when I need but I think having the greater range of the 10-22 would have been nice.

I'm interested in that 11-16 tokina myself, I wish Fred would get that sucker up on the reviews page so I could see what other owners think as well.

Got any good shots from it at f2.8 you can post? Something flat across the sensor plane so we can see the corners? (like a landscape)

I think the 10-22 looks like a good lens for video on the 7D based on what I've seen posted.

Hard to tell much with those small images but thanks for posting. I see the Tokina is back ordered everywhere, that's usually a good sign that it's a good bargain.

Thanks for the link Scott, Philip Bloom is amazing. He probably bought that Tokina to use on one of his 5Ds.
