I just picked up an 08 Sanger v215 and was wondering the best way to weight it for surfing. It has the stock front and rear ballast.

Talk to dennis on here, his v215 throws an amazing wave. Here is a link to James doing some amazing things behind a v215.

I do full midship 500
Rear locker has 750 plus another half full 400
2 more 400's on the seats plus people.

You'll get an amazing wave thats big, long and crisp.

Dennis doesn't like any weight on the seats so he doesn't do it there but I think with lead and water hes running about 1200 in the rear locker and I think mid ship as well.

Hey Mark,
As Hate said I don't like sacks all over my seats. I use stock ballast in front and on the side your riding, then I add 500 # lead in the locker and fill a sack on top of the lead maybe 400 # or less. That's it, same setup works for both sides. Great wake with nice transition.

Hey Dennis, how does that V215 wave compare to the V237? I like those pictures a lot.

The wave looks great. Thanks guys! Looks like I need to look into getting some lead. Any suggestions on where to get it from?

Hey Mark,
The best source for lead that I have found is Jared at 1-626-353-0340. nicely put in heavy duty bags great handle.

Andrew,
The wake are comparable as the hull is the same. I really have not had enough time in the V237 to really dial it in. It has so much more freeboard that it can take a lot more weight.
