Well we are sad to announce that we are having to close our pro shop, and our Marine canvas shop, due to the slow economy. It's a bummer but life goes on. Hope everyone will start supporting their local pro shop.

I'm guessing "LAME" means it's lame that a local business owner is having to close down due to the crap economy ???

Yeah, it sucks that all the small business owners are suffering and going under while poorly managed companies like GM and Chrysler get bailouts. This country is going to go to hell quickly if things don't change.

Everyone envy's Canadian's!

We are feeling it in the Manufacturing sector, but overall the Business in the Toronto area is hunkering down and trying to get through it...

Now only if these commodities would settle and not be a roller coaster ride in the markets trading.

Kerby, heard the story from Tom at Aquayacht last week. I hate to hear of another good guy losing because of this economy. Hope all goes well with your new venture.

Local shops are closing because to many people buy on-line... or at box stores (i.e. zumiez, etc..)
