yesterday i took out my roam for the first time and now i am hooked. the water was perfect. i was able to do flat spins butter slides and much more. so much fun. i recomend everyone gets one. also after i used my premier and i seemed to be edging much harder and more aggresive. so not only is it fun it has improved my riding.
GET ONE!

deffinitely a sick board!! my buddy has one. i need to get my own. it was a little tricky to get pop on but once i did i was landing in the flats

im stoked to see more people get into ridin the roam. i quit riding normal boards right when the roam came out. its such a different type of ride its incredible. once u learn how to edge and pop on it i think that it gives u the best feel for the water. i hope to see more and more people give this board a try and see how much fun it can be. riding the roam completely gave me a different riding style and brought back the stoke in the sport for me. i can go out and not even hit the wake and still have a ton of fun.

I got to ride the roam for the 1st time today... It's pretty sweet! I think I'll lose my Era (to my girlfriend), and pick up the new roam.

blake, i broke one of last years model in half, and i ripped the inserts on the 06 about a month ago. however i shipped it to the factory in washington and had it back in less than 10 days
tyler, i currently ride the 06 parks and am waiting to get ahold of the murrrays. the roam bindings are super comfy but have almost no ankle support. they are really good for jibbing and thats about it.

Jason,
I just got a roam and it is loads of fun..
Maybe you could give us some pointers on how do to the things on the roam that are impossible on other boards (due to flex issues), big butters, etc?

Finally rode one for my first time on Friday. Wow! Like riding on grease. Love the slippery feel for butters, etc. Need to take a few more rides to get more use to it, but I like it. Cleared the wake just fine. Also found it will slam you just as hard as a regular board if you catch an edge!  Found out a couple times. Definately a fun board.

I ride the roam about 3 times to every wakeboard run and love it! When the water is glassy u dont need fins u need a roam. I love everything from presses (nose/tail) to wake 2 wake, D-ups to slasyhin'. People think in crazy but then they get a butter roam run in and BLAMO there hooked. Some haters say its a "big trick ski" but with the flex and the new 06' shape its off the hook how u can feel the flex when carvin around. I think this flex board idea is gonna change alot of thing about this sport...like differnt flex patterns,rail shapes....and so on...get a raom, lose the fins...

06 by far but the 05 had its own personality "the popsicle stick" had some toe drag issues(size xl) pressed good, popped good. The 06 came out and one upped the 05 all around.

I am curious if the new O'brien company that will debut shortly will offer a Roam type board. I am hoping that multiple companies will begin building these types of boards so there are different designs out there. I am building one currently and will post up some pics.

I'm about to get a Roam but I dont know if I should get the 05 for super cheap or the 06 for a little more. Is the 06 worth it??

Why not get a cheap 05 ride it hard untill it breaks then send it in and they will probably give you an 06

the 06 is a better board in all aspects. it flexs better, rides better, pops bigger, tracks better when on edge, but it still jus as loose when not on an edge. if money is an issue do what jon said and get the 05 and ride it hard and break it. then warranty it and they will give u the 06.
