This summer while we were at Lake Powell I came across a guy who tore up his prop on a rock about 60 miles up the lake and he didn't have a spare. It ruined his whole trip.
It made me think I should have a spare prop and gland nut on board.
Can anyone recomend a good size for my boat?
I have the 350hp MCX and I'm running a OJ 13.7x17 right now.
Thanks

You can always rock out the same size but I'd put on a 14.25x14.5

Most of us are actually using a 14.25x14 now. It is a little better than the 14.5x14.25

Thanks guys...
I do want to try a different prop.
I know the prop you recommend is a low end torque prop, for a heavy load.
Do you know what the top speed is with the 14.25x14?
The prop I have now does more than 40mph.
