Moomba xlv

Is the XLV a good boat? Hows the wake? Or would I be better off with a vride?

xlv has a great wake. Vride is a smaller boat but excellent in it's class. Between the two having ridden behind both of them, I think the XLV wake is nicer and bigger. Vride has better fit and finish. both great...good luck

JP, do a search on the XLV here on WW and you will get all kinds of great feedback on the boat. There seems to be alot of threads recently concerning the XLV. It's been getting more and more interest lately, especially since they did a small redesign on the hull. It's a great boat, I've had mine since 2004.

I promise you won't be disappointed with it's size, performance and wake size.

luv my xlv , get the 340 hp engine if you plan to weight it down a bunch.

i have a xlv that i normally run over 3000# and i have the 325hp motor and its fine, just make sure you get the 14.25x14.5 prop

Cant go wrong with the XLV. Great boat lots of room, and the wake is awsome.

Love my 2007 XLV! It just turned 6 months old and I have put 140hrs on it so far.
