Joe- That is the button for the power flag.

I have taken the boat out a few times already and let me just say this system was worth every penny, it is clean and it pounds and the wake with all of those batteries back there is amazing, and yes we do wakeboard behind this boat a lot. My wife and I both ride as well as both of my kids so it is isn't just all for show.

Robb- It is the Hot Buddies Products flag and it is pretty slick. They are out of San Jose and he has them right there at his house so no waiting.

The power flag dosent come with the throttle power flag button that's somthing I came up with. We took apart the stock power flag button and worked it into the throtle. I did one for my boat and Ceasars SAN is the 2nd one I know of.
Clay aso installed the LED's into the dash to let you know when the flag is up of down. These Pic's are from my boat but Caesars are the same.

Grant you guys continue to amaze me... One question! Is the light there to save you the trouble of looking up? (haha just being a smart a##)

Ken: The Dash mounted Led's let you know the flag is up. On the FTC tower You cant see if the flag is up or down when you are driving. With the speakers in the way ect and if the bimini is up you have to break your neck to see if its up or down. If the stereo is up you cant hear the flag flapping in the wind. And the flag material gets qute beat up if its left in the up position for long periods while going 40 Mph. The LED's just let you know what is up.

I was wondering why you guys use so many batterys and what kind of allternators you use. Were do you have all of the amps mounted? What kind of amps and were are they mounted?
Old    enriched            05-16-2006, 3:28 PM Reply
Why did you guys choose not to flush mount the eq?
Old     (grant_west)      Join Date: Jun 2005       05-16-2006, 3:43 PM Reply
Atilla, LOL
Check out the soundillusionsaudio.com for the gallery of all the install shot's.

Lance I dont know why Clay keeps putting all these batterys in the boats? I keep telling him 1 battery and a good set of jumper cables and you should be good.

Yeah, you guys should only use one battery, that way you can show off how fast your system's can kill a battery. I mean who would want to listen to their stereo for more than 10 minutes anyway?
Old     (grant_west)      Join Date: Jun 2005       05-16-2006, 4:37 PM Reply
This is a true story. Harolds friend bought a new SAN, lets just say his name is "Brian". Harold was talking with him and helping him pick out the stereo equipment for his new system. When they finished picking out the equipment Harrold asked where do you wanna put the extra battery's? His answer. "I dont wanna run any extra battery's cant I just bring some jumper cables and hook into your battery's"

And No he was not joking. That makes it even more funny.

Scott: I used PD-199 LCD's They are not a super high end screen but they work great. I think they sell for like $150-$200 each. The Mirrior Arm's are Boss. The carbon fiber mirrior's are custom made by myself. Here are some Pic's Upload

Hey Grant,
Would you be willing to write up a tutorial on how you work with carbon fiber? Specifically, how you're able to get such a clean professional finish product?

I was checking out the Hot Buddies Products. Looks like the power flag has a new revision coming out soon that will automate the flag. I figure they will probably monitor the PP and when the PP is disengaged (rider down) the flag automatically goes up. Pretty slick. Great idea.
