After months of speculation, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation announced that it has decided to terminate the contract of the company in charge of five of the seven resorts at Lake Berryessa.

So does that mean the resorts are going to close and the BOR is kicking everyone out?

This is actually really good.
Pleasure Cove and Markley Cove get to keep operating like they have been.
And all the other ramps are free ramps right now.
The BOR is trying to get Berryessa functioning again. Pensus was doing nothing, and it was hurting our local economy. But it has been the best water conditions I have ever seen at berryessa (The narrows stayed crowded though). With no place to camp or launch, it killed boat and board sales on top of the terrible economy.

Talking to the the owners of Markley, Pleasure cover, BOR, and other parties involved, this is a good thing.
