My little sob story goes as follows. I ordered a pair of Jupiters the second week of May (birthday present). I then waited until halfway through June to be told that the colour I ordered was basically unavailable until August or later (backordered). Whatever, fine. I ordered a different colour, and still dont have them. Has anyone else had problems ordering from Oakley through a local shop? Is this poor customer service from Oakley, or should I find a new shop to buy from?

You ordered them from a shop or from the site ?

A similar thing happened to me except I ordered them off Oakley.com. They had changed the style of the O so I had to change my order. They gave me next day shipping for free in return and the glasses actually came sooner than they were supposed to.

Find a new shop.... http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1311&_nkw=oakley+jup iter&_sacat=See-All-Categories

I would have waited a week then ordered online.

whats the model number of the glasses? I can tell you when they will be available. Usually takes 7-10 days for us to get an order in from Oakley if they are instock ready to ship.

Well, one of the O's in my half jacket frame popped out and I asked if they could just send me a new O and they said I had to buy a whole new frame which I kinda think is bs. But that's about it

They used to be great, then they got too big, then they got bought out by Luxottica. It's gotten worse with every bump in the road.

Is quality still as good? I bought my half jackets 5 years ago and I'm in need of a new pair, but if quality has gone down hill I will look elsewhere. My current ones have been bulletproof, they're just finally wearing down a bit.

I think all their glasses are great. I've had 3 pairs, still have 2 and sold one, all in great condition.

Great customer service too, when I dealt with them.

eBay? Seriously?

Ever tried to warranty a product through an eBay seller? Or even get a genuine product?? Not to mention that 70% of the stuff sold on eBay these days is pricier than finding it elsewhere...
