TSR - Props!!!

I just wanted to give props to TSR Cable Park for the overall coolness of the people who work the cable park.
I been to OWC a few times and I have to say if I had a choice between OWC & TSR I would choose TSR in a heartbeat especially for a beginner.
I was there last Friday and there were a bunch of people who it was there 1st time riding a cable (spring break) and the guy who was working, helped them without any hesitation. I sat back and watched him with a couple of people and he was really happy for the people when they got up for the 1st time or made the turn for the 1st time. It was really cool to see someone help a person and enjoy it too.
I am not saying the people at OWC don’t do it but it seems a lot more click-ish. Every time I have gone if you are a local you do not have to wait in line and when I have asked for help it has seem like it was a second thought to them talking to their buddies about what party they went to.

Anyway a BIG thumbs up to TSR!!!

I went to TSR for a tournament a couple years ago and liked the cable very much. It had two big advantages over OWC. First the center island provides a wave break keeping the water calm. Second the cable is higher and provides more pop/lift.

However, I'm a bit surprised that TSR would have an advantage over OWC wrt standing in line. O'Dub has two cables. One cable is run at a slower speed and is pretty much dedicated to beginners. The other runs faster and has the sliders for other than beginners. Intuitively I would have thought OWC would have the edge for starting riders, but it's hard for me to comment on how much advice is offered on the beginners cable. In the past I've noticed the operators have been helpful to beginners. Maybe some of them will see this post on WW and be reminded how important their advice is.

TSR cable operators are all top notch and great guys and gals. They are happy to help the beginner riders anytime they need help or offer tips and encouragement. In fact, even the regular riders offer tips and encourage the other riders to do better. It's laid back and friendly at TSR.

(don't forget about the entire TSR team.. they are all awesome!)

Also, if you are of camp age, they offer summer camps and that's pretty cool. Wakeboarding, skateboarding and hanging out.

Don't forget about Cablestock in May at TSR, it's gonna be off da hook!

We had the pleasure of visiting TSR last year in between WWA Worlds and the Liquid Force Slide Show. They were so gracious and nice to us while we were there. Definately a place we want to go back to.
