Both are nice rides...Tim, you are going with 2 pairs of Pro 80"s? I had one pair and people kept telling me to turn the music down.

I will let ya know that Wetsounds are awesome!!! I have been beyond impressed with the sound and the clarity at distance with the set up. Everyone I have run into or who has hear my set up has told me they are the loudest speakers they have ever heard!!!!

Sorry for the hijack, now back to your regular posts.

Mike,

Rule number uno... if your going to pose the Naughty in pics, make sure you square it up on the trailer before doing so.

We Correct Craft folk are a little finicky.

Cliff isn't the running gear lined up with the prop guard. I think its just the picture angle.

Hey Cliff, Would never do anything to discredit the SANTE.... In fact it is centered on the trailer and the rudder is inline with the prop guard.... The angle of the picture most have been off..... Thanks for the insight.... Won't let it happen again......

Cliff, does CC use Boatmate Trailers. If they do, it probably is square by their jig standards.

Old    Ben Kerran            01-02-2007, 1:32 PM Reply
with three 485's facing the rear, I am pretty sure you can hear it perfectly clear 5 miles behind the boat and probably 2 miles in front!

Mike,

That is an awesome picture and one sharp looking v-Ride! I was wondering what kind of weight you run in your v-ride? I just bought an 06 v-Ride and I was wondering how much weight people have been using in it. I have 900 in the rear, 350 in the middle, and 500 in the front. I haven't been able to ride behind the boat yet because of winter but I'm looking forward to using it this spring. Also, I was wondering if you have a wedge? I don't and I've been debating on getting one. Anyway, let me know!

Chris

Correct Craft uses Ramlin Trailers.....
Old     (deuce)      Join Date: Mar 2002       01-03-2007, 12:24 PM Reply
I was under the impression that Correct Craft lets the dealers decide what they want to put under the boat. They are not in the trailer business.

I do not have a Ramlin trailer under my dingy.

Ben - Thanks, it's good to be in with the crowd.

Chris - Thanks. You made a great purchase. We love the boat, and the VRide is a great way to own a Malibu without killing your wallet. We only ride with the stock center ballast, and the Wedge. We have not added any weight to it YET. We all learned how to wakeboard behind a 70's jet boat. So, at times, the wake seems to be a mountain. Especially, when it's full of friends. I do plan on weighting the boat down in the future. What are you using? Thanks, Mike

Mike-to weigh the boat down I'm using two rear soft tanks, the center tank, and a bow tank. I just got the boat and due to weather I have not had a chance to get it out and ride with all of the ballast full. When I tested the boat it had the center tank and two hard tanks in the rear and the wake wasn't too bad (I learned on a 94 rinker) I'm excited to see the wake size with the soft tanks (because the weigh more) and the bow tank. I'm still debating on the wedge!
