Ive done some research, but cant find my answer. Two 6v batteries in series or two 12v in paralel. Which way will give me the most amp hrs?? thanks

same if batts are same amp hours to begin with, 2 X 6volts in series @ 55 amp/hours each= 2 X 12 volts in parrallel @ 55 amp/hours each

then again im wondering if 2 X 6 volts is only good for 55 amp/hours not 110 amp/hour....yes i was wrong, when in series you just double the voltage not the current, when in parallel you double the current. Final answer is: in order for two X 6volts to equal two X 12 volts the two X 6 volts need to start out with double the capacity (IE:110 amp/hours each)
