More specifically, how long have the world wakesurf championships been around?
I know they have been surfing behind oil tankers as far back as 1970, but what about modern boats? When was a boat designed and marketed as a surf boat? I think alot of boats have 'surfable' waves, but i'm talking about the next level where you actually have a lengthy pocket.
