I finally finished my 2007 video. I started filming in May, and compiled a ton of footage over the last couple months. My purpose of the vid was to convey the overall lifestyle and also have an artistic kick to it. You diehards out there will complain that there's not enough riding, too long of an intro etc., but the finished product is exactly what I was aiming for.
Let me know what you guys think; I put more time than I ever though I would into it.

Hey broseph, definitely good editing - my $.02, I think you need less of the intro (min:27 before any actual wakeboarding), and maybe sync the music a little better to the footage.

But definately looks good otherwise, nice work.

What program did you use to edit?

yeah good video, that was some serious editing. i agree if you were going for the lifestyle i would have liked to seen more of you guys off the water or goofing off in the boat or whatever. other than that excellent job.

Great video...I know that took weeks to put together, unless you can jack yourself up with a caffeine-drip and stay up for days straight :-) When the riding is at that level (not a diss...my crew is at the same level), having scenes other than riding enhances the video to me and increases the entertainment value. Keep it up!

Thanks so much for all the comments guys! I love the feedback!

Loren nailed it on the head. When my frontside 1's and finally sticking the backroll are the best bits of riding I can compile over the summer, its hard to do a full vid of straight riding and keep it interesting.

Jon - The Unicorns are great I like to try and pic unique songs that will make people wonder what song it is for the most part.

I filmed the entire thing with a Panasonic Lumix TZ1 10x zoom digital still shot camera, but you can't really appreciate the great quality by watching it on YouTube. The DVD version looks awesome. Maybe one day I will learn how to host them on the web myself.

For the graphics and editing I used Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and Adobe Premier 7.0, and a great deal of time I could have spent studying for tests

The draining ballast as credits started to roll was sweet, I wish you would have continued that frame until the end. Just my .02
