Everyone who decided to ride on the fox river should def. b vigilant w/the amount of debris out there. Not only so you dont run into logs w/ur boat, but as well for urself and ur board. Unfortunately yesterday i was riding and didnt even c the log, but my board did and it split the nose of my pretty much new lyman 08 b/c of the frail end design of the board. So b careful for ur own health as well as ur boards and boats!!!!!!

Yeah, you can just get used to that on the Fox.
Pretty much every time it rains you're gonna get a bunch of stuff floating. The water level goes up and down a lot with only a little rain all kinds of stuff floats down river. Just think of it as more stuff to jib.
One of the joys of the lower Fox.

yea i have definitely seen a lot of branches in the past, but from the oar to the forrest preserve it was horrible and unfortunately that was the only decent water on friday

Thats a bummer Tom. I have allready heard a few good log stories this year...
