It's OK. I got one with my United sky miles. It takes decent pics for a point and shoot but once you are spoiled by a decent DSLR it is hard to be happy with it.

Now it sits in my desk and I use it take pictures of interesting cases.

It is one of the best point and shoot cameras out there. Highly regarded for underwater photography. It can shoot RAW so that is a major plus.

its rad if you want to do off camera lighting stuff cuz it can sync up to 1/2000 of a second. i think thats how high it goes. all i know is that it syncs higher than the 1/320 or 1/250 that most SLR's will do. other than that i think a DSLR would be better

I picked one up and have been pretty damn happy with it. Though, it cannot compare to my DSLR. Which, if you are torn between the two I would get a DSLR. BUT! If you are looking for a decent point and shoot camera then I wouldn't look any further. If you are looking to take action wakeboard photos then I definitely wouldn't get it thought because it is pretty slow. But it has become my little travel/random photo op camera. Definitely wouldn't have gotten a few shots if I didn't have it around.

Here are a couple examples taken with it.
