call your local rep if its bad, I think they will be glad to send you a new one if its altering the performance of the board.

What is the chipping from? Has it been used on sliders, dropped on the concrete, or something else?

I have had zero problems with my '06 Absolute Platty.

I do but then again I dropped it out of a truck and jacked the shizz out of the rail. I have been riding for 4 months since then and shes held up nice. If your talking about the little nics board can get on the rails, don't sweat it, they will not affect your ride.
