I dont wanna be a hater but to me this just looks like a slingshot wakeboard, theres just way more hype because of who is behind Company.

I agree with Kevin... I think this is a lot a hype. I will continue to support Slingshot, they make great product and really take car of their customers when something happens.

Hype is what gets the public aware, without it, you wouldn't even be on here discussing it!!Go with it, you never know where it will lead....

I hate to say it but I was a little let down. I was super excited to check out their stuff after all the secretive marketing which was very effective at building tons of hype but in the end the whole presentation seemed a little bland to be honest. I guess we'll have to see how the boards actually ride before we can all form a real opinion. If you take away randall and the other riders and just look at the product, then I don't think they have much going for them. even just taking randall out of it would kill it for me.

Well what do y'all think about the new Slingshot? Sounds like the reflex is supposed to ride maybe a little like the Byerly assault with a stiffer mid section and flexy tail.

The new PB's are sick and the new D2's, hopefully they addressed the lacing issues with last years clamps, and the new fins are supposed to be revolutionary and not strip anymore. I know that my roommates and I went through numerous fin sets last year, and a few of those lace clamps.

Go Slingshot!

Nice pics Mike, thanks for posting those.

Does anyone know what these boards ride like? The Severance is a 3-stage so therefore faster and more poppy in comparison to the continuous of the Recruit? I'm seriously considering these over an '09 LF PS3, S4 or Ronix Arcade Bill.

As I'm based in Ireland we mightn't have somewhere to test these so would appreciate any pointers with these? Maybe some Slingshot riders could shed a little light? I'm looking for something smooth and controllable but still with decent pop.

I have to say though, the marketing effort by Co. has been pretty efficient. Instantly some of the best looking product out there too.

Cheers!

3 stage means slower on the water with straight up vertical pop off the wake...

continuous means faster on the water, more out in to the flats with less vert pop

Companys 3 stage is softer that the continuous, the continuous ark gives the board more strength
