My 02 X-Star didnt come with the rasied swim platform, not sure why, but I dont really care. I mean its not that big a deal to have the platform under water.

Except when you are short and it is too far away to put on your board and sit on the back (like my girlfriend). I have an 01 X-star and the dealer put the wrong platform supports on. They replaced them because it is standard equipment.

My platform is about 3-4 inches under water. I have about 2600#, 1300# in rear lockers and 1300# in the front half of the boat.

Just an FYI all X2/X-Stars should have the raised platform. I just left my local dealer and asked about this. According to him some got out with the 205V brackets, but you should be able t get them replaced under warranty.
