I am looking to buy a used Fat Sac from a guy who thinks it may be around 600lbs. Does anyone have a Pro X Series with dementions of 44" X 27", that knows the exact weight? I looked online and did not find a sac of those same dimensions

We need the third dimension of the sac.

HxWxL= cubic inches of sac.

There are 231 cubic inches in a gallon.

Take the cubic inches of the sac and divide by 231.

Now you have the amount of water in gallons of the sac.

There are 8.33 pounds per gallons.

Take gallons and multiply by 8.33.

Now you have the weight of the sac.

You need the third dimension to figure volume. Is it a custom size sac? If not his size is off.

For reference: 50x20x20= 750 lbs
50x24x24=1150
42x16x16=400lbs

My guess is they are the 42x16x16(Vdrive sac W713) and be is measuring them at an angle or corner to corner or something like that. Other wise they are custom size.

The bag should be stamped with a 6 digit number that is the dimensions. For example my Supra came with these bags:

Stock Rear Ballast 101670 400 lbs
Stock Front Ballast 161670 650 lbs

I would think that multiplying the 3 dimensions together will give you the volume of water the bag can hold which you can then calculate the weight.
