Up until this year I've always rode on a single lake where if it get's windy or to many craft your day is over. This year I've started riding at the chain in Winter Haven and it's nothing short of awesome. Friday, Byrd and I were out and the winds were 17-20mph. With 12 lakes to choose from and their different variations with wind breaks, we were still able to find butter.

Agree 100% We have a house in Clermont on the chain. We can have 2ft waves beating our shore, and take a beating on a five minute boat ride to access near butter. Love it!

Bro when I pulled up to the lake Friday there were white caps. But through the winds and over the white caps to the butter we went.

we managed to find good water on weir on saturday. also took some footin' runs this am.

there was a lot of complaining in the boat about the bitter cold 75 deg temperature, and the freezing 78 deg water temp.
