I do a boat jams every year but I haven't started in on mine just yet. I've been on hiphopearly.com sourcing stuff but nothing definitive yet. This year I'm gonna do a hip hop and a house mix.

I've got almost 8000 songs on my old ipod with several playlists that are always changing. Sad thing is I bet 1/2 to 3/4 of it is crap I will never listen to. I'm too embarassed to let it play on shuffle. You never know what will pop up. I keep listening to the same old stuff with a little bit of additions and rearranging. Maybe CD's were easier.....

Yeah your listening to Krazy by Pitbull and bam Wham! pops up.

I don't usually get too into rap, but "Right Round" by Flo Rida is so sick. Probably my favorite song this year.

Other than that, "Swagga like Us" by Jay Z and T.I. is pretty dope.

I'm usually more into some underground hip hop.

"Play Hard" by Master Ace
"Comes & Goes" by Sweatshop Union
"Blazing Arrow" by Blackalicious
"None Shall Pass" by Aesop Rock

Check those out. I doubt you'd be disappointed if your into that type of tunes.

On girl talk's latest album - feed the animals, the whole thing was created as one track and then separated into songs, if you donate a few bucks on the site you get the whole seamless song which is about an hour long. If you like girl talk check out super mash brothers and discotech.

Here's the girl talk album, it's free but there are some perks if you donate a few bucks. If you haven't heard it, check it out.

Black Betty by spiderbait is a good rockin song when you are shooting across the lake.

Old stuff but, I like rockin it.

Chop Suey by System of the Down
Thunder Kiss 65 by White Zombie
Walk by Pantera
Mother by Danzig
Chemical between us by Bush
Black by Sevendust
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed
Loose by Primer 55
Undecided by Silverchair
Mercy by Mudvayne

I always have tons of songs on my I-Pod, but the rock stuff is what always gets played. The rap beats only get played when you want to watch the girls in the boat or the boat next to you dance.

Sent the 80's mix to the guys that asked hope it works out ok

Another sick house mix is Richard Vission live at Club Volume Soul Korea you can get it for free Here but it was during a radio program so a dude jumps in here and there but it's a totally sick mix.

Also I think K,naan's album dropped today.

when I get home I will upload it and post a link guys. Does anyone have any new Dante mixes? That guy is hands down one of the best house dj's to ever live. I remember going out to see him and DJ Dan and the CDC guys back in the days when house was still good.

Ya'll might wanna be careful with things like megaupload or rapidshare links. That's bordering on the lines of getting the popo knockin' on the WW door (trust I know).

I think I somehow gave the impression that the 80's is a house mix or something when it's just a list of good music from the 80's. If you still want it just PM me. Sorry for any confusion.

Just so you guys are clear i am not just compiling a bunch of 80's music but rather doing a seamless mix. Still getting the music together and figuring out exactly what i want on it so hold tight.
