looking for some info on the differance between the polk mmc6500 and the db6500 has any one heard either? and whats the best for a tower speaker. I an constructing the enclosures myself from 1/8 aluminum rolled into a tube then welded

I've heard and like both ! The DB series is more efficient then the Momo series 92db vs 90db so they will be louder with the same amount of power. I would use the Dbs for the tower and the momo's for in your cabin.

Jay - I'm running all DB series on my tower with 4 of them being components they sound really good & clear. Her is a pic for ya I will post a rear hot shortly

One of my buddies had 4 db 6x9's and my other buddy has 4 momo 6x9's... Both were very loud but the momo's were much clearer... I'm about to put together a tower box w/ 4 6x9's and I'm going with the momo. Plus the momo looks cooler IMO...
