Nobody has ever wakeboarding in Washington. In fact, nobody who lives here even knows what a wakeboard is. Traffic is horrible. It always rains. All the lakes are full of the SARS virus and other terrible diseases. The Puget Sound is so salty that any metal rusts almost instantaneously. You have been warned.

I'll third that. No wakeboarding at all. Not many boats to speak of and come to think of it, I don't see many snowboarders either. Where are you getting your information from?

Come on, it's one thing to kid with someone that should know better or just asks a stupid question but this kid is an Aussie and just wants some info.

So to answer your question, yes you can wakeboard in the winter but it's COLD. Really COLD. In the summer there are lots of people that wakeboard but the water isn't very warm.

There is plenty of good snowboarding in the mountains near Seattle.

In all seriousness, you will find that the great state of Washington is a great place to ride. Let us know when you´re in the area.

Lighten up Bill.

Just joshin' with ya lachlan. I'll be the first to offer you a ride with your gear or mine. When you get here, let me know. It's a great place, you'll love it as long as you dress warm.
