These are pictures of mine. Our garage has square steel posts that support a laminated beam, so I used some U bolts to attach 2x10's to the posts I used wood dowels that I drilled the holes on an angle (that was the tricky part) then I glued them in and added foam pipe insulation....I used mighty putty to attach the brackets for the closet rod between the columns to hang jackets up.

very simple, and similar to many others within this thread. simple pvc elbow within 2x4's that are screwed into the wall. holds everything aside from my coolers, which sit under the rack. side benefit, everything dries pretty quickly.

Finally got the garage semi set-up. Hooks are 2$ a piece from harbor freight. And yes that's my competitive hula hoop.

Here are the racks I built. I like these because they take up zero space on our garage wall and keep the boards well out of the way of any accidental damage. I can reach them from the floor or the boat. My wife can reach them using a short step-stool or from inside the boat. I think we are on year 4 or 5 and I have no complaints. T-bars were purchased at Home Depot and then I just bought some cheap pipe insulation to use for the padding.

Here is a picture of the setup I built out of scrap I had laying around. Holds everything for the boat in one spot.

Really love the models.
I'll probably get back with my photos this week. I'm working every day on my interior walls boards.
