WOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! What kind of speakers? How big is amp? Nice job! Where did you mount that CD player? Did you have some of these components already?

The speakers are the polk db651. We have four on the tower and four in the boat. They really do scream and I was overly impressed as to how well they sounded.
The Amp is a four channel Alpine. It is super strong and I knew it would do the trick. I have the speakers wired down to two ohms each. That way I have each channel on the amp powering two speakers. Each speaker is getting approximately 40-60 watts rms. I don't care what people say about you need a minimum of 100 watts rms to hear the sound behind the boat... well they didn't hear this setup. She really screams and pumps out the music. Again, thoroughly impressed.
We mounted the cd player in the "glove box." We used two L-brackets and screwed the base down to the side. Once we made sure the distance was right, we bolted it into the cd player. All cd decks have little mounting holes on the side of them. We found the appropriate bolt and bolted it in. No movement there.
We purchased the tower speakers and cans together from an ebay dealer. Once I figured out what speakers they were we bought the same speakers for the boat on ebay. The cd deck was a friend of ours from his old car. The cd player doesn't work, but we only use it for the iPod anyways. We set the volume on the deck and control the volume through the iPod. Works amazingly well. If you're ever in the Fargo area, give us a shout.

Too sad! Best of luck to you guys.

How is the wake with four sacs? The 700lbs I put in isn't quite doin it so I'm looking to expand. Can you tell me the sizes approx on the sacs you have?

We've had troubles filling it full of weight. The wake seems to wash out. But then again, it's probably something dealing with the wake plate and adjusting that to fit the weight perfectly. Never really played with it. I'll ask simon about the weights of the sacs. I can't remember and he's the one that bought them.

Ya when you get more weight in her you need to put the plate down about 15-20% or like 1/2" below horizontal.

If the lip of the wake develops a 'double lip' that means it's down too far and the boat will also porpoise or nose-dive a bit when you hit higher speeds.

It does make the wake a bit more peaky and gives the lip a bit of a bite but I haven't had over 1200lbs or so of total weight. Surfing wake is AWESOME.
