Have you ever been wakeboarding on a private lake?

We are going to our friends lake this weekend. Most of the people there are waterskiers. Are there any do's or don'ts I should know about?

Don't do powerturns, be polite to the homeowners. They are very protective of thier private water! Take turns if there is a rotation system on the lake. Don't leave a mess. Stay behind the boat around the turn around islands (if there are any), this is very important because they tend to be very shallow spots.

Also make sure to thank everyone you meet for using thier lake, it helps you get invited back sometime!

Yeah, the lake we're going to has islands at both ends. Thanks for the tips. I'll post some pics next week. I can't wait!
