Clarions New Ipod friendly head unit, for thoes of you with $1,600 to spend on head unit, You can now use the touch screen to scroll threw your I pod just like you had it in front of you. I wonder if the Marine Remote's will hook up to this unit???

For that kind of cash I'll stick with manual control of the Ipod and hook it in via the RCA cable. The other option would be to go with the non-Marine unit from Alpine which is also Ipod ready....

Alpine does have the iPod ready receiver but, you'll need the 420 to interface it but, what's another $100 these days?

Just got the Alpine iPod module to go with my 9820XM head unit. Pretty sweet functionality, but I haven't had much time to mess around with it yet.
