Thinking about swapping out my stock JLs for some rev 10's. Just wondering if my old cans and speakers would be worth anything, and if so what? Its of a 2007 mastercraft x star. The cans are without the lights.

what size are they? I'm sure you could get quite a few offers for them.

ummmm they are worth a ton actually. Do a quick search on team talk for sale items. Seen the ones with lights go for 8 or 900 bucks

^^ What he said. Do a search on eBay or Mastercraft Teamtalk. You are in for a pleasant surprise. Those things are crazy expensive new. The JL 7.7s are excellent speakers. They will take 150w and really put out. Stock MC setup is only about 75w per and people think the speaker is no good. Put full power to them first before you decide to sell.

They sound incredible actually. I just bought an x2 with the JL's. First thing I did was change out the amps to give them the proper power. With the proper power they sound great in the boat. Are you going to hear them riding like you would with a set of wetsounds.......absolutely not. I've been debating on whether to change over or not but atleast a set of wetsounds would cost me practically nothing. There are some speakers such as the hp 7.7 neos that fit directly in those stock cans also. The speakers themselves have been seen to sell for 200 or so.

I have 110 watts each going to them now, and no doubt they are loud but I want something I can hear a little better while riding. Thanks for the info guys, and if anyone's interested let me know
