the boards weight is not an issue. its tip and tail are very thin, which makes the swing weight low. switching between the sub6 and bside did not mess with me based on board weight. it has molded-in fins and channels that are not sharp as to give the board a level of control with flexability. the board is loose when you need it to be, and holds a hard edge into the wake. I ride this board finless. the pop is similar to a premier, but more defined off the wake (almost like a 3-stage), but the landing is like a continuous rocker - soft and forgiving. the graphics ROCK!
