I'm a "big guy". Slightly over 6 ft, 245 lbs. I currently have the State 145 and I tried out a Murray 142, but i'm not too sure on that one. I think the continuous rocker is a little too passive for me but then again, what do I know really. Has anybody ridden this board? I like the size and i'm not an advanced rider really. I can't consistantly land a tantrum or backroll yet, but have landed a few at the end of last season before blowing out my knee, so i haven't gone at it yet this year. Just saying that so u know what level i'm at. Any thoughts?

Josh, I tip the scales slightly more than you, I have a state 145 also. I did get an "O" oasis 142 on the toys for tots auction this winter and it rides as big as the state 145, I like the feel better too. I am far from being good but I do know that the oasis seems more aggressive, so I am sure that the Natural would be similar in the ride. Hope it helps.

Josh,

Here is a link to some reviews including mine of the Natural 139:

The 144 should be good for you.

I love the Natural!!

I'm actually not a big enough "techy" when it comes to the specifics of the board, but I did find the board slower, so we just sped up the boat more but i guess i'm used to the 3 stage feeling off the wake and it didn't quite feel all that comfortable to me when edging. Don't get me wrong, it's not tos ay this isn't a good board at all...just for my style of riding, I guess it just didn't "fit".

Josh,

The Natural is very fast for a 3 stage board.

Have you looked at the CWB Factor it comes in a 144cm and is a 3 stage. It is a really sick board with a great shape I love to ride that shape, its a great consistent board. I would check it out for shure.

Josh - I'm the same weight as you but taller, and I ride the HL Era 147. Slow board, but good pop and very stable landings.
