That's the way you do it, don't claim, ride away like it was nothing.

He did allow himself a small celebratory fist pump.

I really shouldnt be saying this as I know I will get flamed but with all the convo on grabs and such... thats considered a grab and not a slap? Just sayin...........

It's clean as hell and I certainly can't do it, but if you didn't tell me that there was a grab in there I certainly wouldn't have noticed it. But then I just watched Harf's part in Out of the Pond so don't slight me for not counting a slap as a legit grab.

sick.. and i would call that a legit grab.
i'd like to see it un wrapped though.

Very nice, but... the hardest part of the 1080 is the handle pass, so I agree with dnp33 and would like to see it unwrapped. Very badass video though.

would you rather see it wrapped with a grab? or handle pass with out a grab? Im all for the grab. Hell it think wrapped spins make the rotation look better as well.

I may be off here but int he the first one to grab a 10 let alone throw it backside?

You have to have style in the trick to not just spining like a top wih no grab.

Agreed backside makes it much more difficult. The grab is a little weak but the whole move seemed effortless. Very clean almost looks like he could throw 5 in a row it was so smooth.

In snowboarding you can hold your grabs all the way through. When doing that fast of a spin and with the handle passes it is impossible to make a solid, held grab.

I agree that it wasn't the most grabbed trick (same goes wihis bs 9)...but... to even throw a bs 9 or 10 (wrapped or handlepass) (grabbed or not)(w2w or off the doubleup) it is truly ridiculous

I personally think for a grab on bs 10... thats probably as good as it gets, but I would like to be proven wrong :-)

He might have just done the grab to set his axis, not for style purposes.

the only thing to me about doing wrapped tricks rather than unwrapped is that its easier to initiate a spin faster. once you let go with your front hand the first 360 is almost done. if you compare how fast he is spinning to how fast harf is spinning in their last 360, there is no comparison. not trying to say its not an extremely difficult trick, or that its not easier to get pulled out the front on wrapped tricks, just my take. almost like the first time a spin is landed if its wrapped it almost needs an asterisk in "the record book."
