Fins?

I just received my O'brien Vixen board, and it came with 2 fins. Why should I use them? What are the pros and cons?

If you dont know what fins are for more than likely you will want to put them on there for now. W/o the fins the board will have a much looser feel on the water (almost slippery)

Pro: W/o fins you have to learn how to edge properly b/c you cant cheat.

Con: If you are just a begginer you will need to learn some board control before you take the fins off.

Pro: Board breakes loose easier/faster and you can spin it in the water much easier.

Like I said, if you are just starting out you are much better off to put them on. later, Clay
