I have been looking at the killer deals out there on 06 cwb mauris boards, but they are all 134 cm in length. I know the board is super wide and wasn't sure if I could get away with riding a smaller board at 185 lbs. like the fish? Some one who has ridden this board please give me some feed back on how she rides.. Thanks

how tall are you? The question you have to ask yourself is about stance width. If the stance range is wide enough for you, then you can ride it absolutely.

Gabriel,

What price are you getting on the 134? I have a 06 140 at my shop and I'll see if I can match or beat your offer.

You can ride it but I think you will be much happier on a bigger board. I am 5'8 175 and ride a 142. I would go at least a 138.

Ant bug, I am a tall guy and would like a wide as stance as possible, 6' 4". If you have the bigger Mauris, the 140 something or other I would definatly be interested. The one I was looking at was at the dwc board shop...

I rode a substance 134 for 2 summers in the 170-180 range. I would say, yes you sure can ride it. The only problem I had was that it was less stable for me. I felt like if I were to have a sketchy landing on that, there wasn't much chance to pull out of it where when I rode a 142 I felt a lot more stable.

i weigh 160 rode the 136 shane and honestly debating on stepping down to the 132. Ya sounds crazy but ive grown up on smaller boards and just feels natural. Thats the point it whatever feels natural

I weigh 150 and I ride the Shane 140, and there is no way I'm going smaller.

It's all preference. Dave isn't riding the wrong board, and neither am I.
