I have a 2000 Air Nautique with the GT40 and the typical 1:1.23 transmission. Unfortunately I need a new prop... It had the ACME 422 which was great. However with over 1000 lbs in the back trunk, 450 lbs in the ski locker and 5 adults (3 in the back) it did struggle some to plane and then hold 22.5mph but no real complaints. At WOT I hit 4600 so I think I could safely prop down and benefit.

Any recommendations from those with experience with the Sport Nautique hull?

Thanks in advance.

I had the ACME 422, now it's my backup, I got the ACME 480. It's 13" dia. x 12.5 degree pitch for 1" shaft. I got a 95 sport nautique and load it with a little over 2000 lbs in the back, about 800 in the bow, and 300 in the ski locker. Gets on plane fairly easy and the wake is awesome. www.propmd.com fixed my old prop for free when I bought the new one.
