My depth sounder is acting up and never really liked the location my puck transducer was installed at. I have purchased a new unit and want to install in the best possible location. I was thinking near the v-drive unit where it is somewhat flat would be better than on a angled part of the hull for obvious reasons. The instructions do not address my concern about mounting it on the angled part of the hull but seems like the signal would not be accurate mounted like that.
BTW, installing on Sanger V210.
