Okay since some people dont think my first entry was clear let me make it clear! I was asking if anyone was looking forward to buying an '06 boat when they roll into stores. And if u are wat manufacture and wat model are u looking at?? Okay i hope that is cleared up so we can hear wat everybody is looking forward to in '06 even tho the riding season for '05 isn't over..... Thanks

Iam going to be looking into getting an 2006 X-2. Seem to be a good value for the money. Iam wondering if there will be many changes for the 06 models?

It'll be the X-1, also what we're looking into.

will the x-1 be any different from the x-2? Price diff? Style? Or is it just a name change?

can't wait to see the SAN 220 or 230, whatever it turns out to be. I won't be buying one, but can't wait to see it.

yes. the 06 X2 is a new boat. Everything will change compared to the 05 X2. I just purchased my 05 X2, when I quized my dealer I was told the 06 will be 8-10 inches wider and have a pickle fork bow. Its supposed to be a baby Xstar.

according to my dealer and everything else I've read the 06 X-1 will have the 205 hull and be a stripped down boat. All base options are lower quality, upgrades are available a la cart, only offer 1 ballast sack (ski locker) and be a price point boat much like Malibu is doing with their V-Ride.

Awesome everyone!!!! im looking into the '06 Malibu VlX. I have an '04 right now and i love it but my family wants the new hull design. Any ways how do the '05 San's ride. And is there anyone else looking at getting a new boat.

There is all this talk about the new X-1 and X-2 but is there goin to be anything new on the X-star for 2006...

Has anyone riden in the I and V ride series from Malibu ive looked at them both at my local dealler but haven't been in one????

he's not and he's right, the current x-2 will now be the x-1 and the new x-2 will be a smaller x-star.

My buddy has a 2005 Malibu I-ride. It's a great boat for the price. The wake is somewhat difficult to ride with wedge and stock MLS. I think it needs extra weight in the bow to make it a little rampier. We waterski behind it too, it's a pretty decent crossover boat. Even though it is Malibu's budget boat nothing feels budget about it. The Titan III is super easy to lower and the Malibu cover/bimini are top notch.

I think a price increase would be a safe bet.

The new hull will be wider which IMHO will have a big effect on the shape, width of the wake and the ability to weight it down. I'm thinking the 05 X2 is going to be the last year to get the 205 hull with all the higher end factory installed options.

I thought the new pickled x2 wasn't coming out until 07.

I could've received bad information, but I heard it from my dealer here in SoCal. It's probably coming out next year, but as on '07 boat, not '06. But, like I said, who knows if the information that I got was correct (did I cover my butt enought :-)

I talked to someone at mastercraft and he said to expect the new redesigned x2 in august, the x1 is going to be the 205v with cheaper interior, and less things standard and more optional

I just put my order in for a 06 MB Sports B-52. I can't wait! I am trading in my 05 MB for it.

Travis- How are the MB Sports B-52's? I do not hear to much about them. I hear that they are an excellent built boat. How is the Wake? The flames look cool!!!!

I ordered an '06 22v 2 weeks ago. Went into the mold last tuesday and should be here sometime next week. If everything goes as planned, of course. I'll post pics when I get 'em.
