I am looking into buying my first wakeboard and i spoke with an experienced wakeboarded tonite and he told me that this would be the best board for me. I have wakeboarded before but want a board to start with and be able to learn many of the tricks. My hesitation was the length. I am 5-9 1/2 and weigh 160. I am athletic and the person thought it would work great. what are your thoughts???

The Rythm is a great board. You can learn all the tricks you want on it, great for all levels. IMO its slow.
also another suggestion for you would be the LF Trip 138. or the Hyperlite Belmont 136.

Justin:
I just got into wakeboarding this year. I had rode once or twice before, but I bought I 2002 Rhythm (i don't think there is much difference from the 03 model) and I think it is a great board to learn on. It is slow as Kristian said, but that isn't a bad thing for a starter. It is VERY stable. What kind of bindings are you looking at? I bought LF speed suctions. They are good for beginners too if you are going to be sharing your board. My wife and I use the same board and those bindings fit the both of us very well. They are extremely adjustable, and I haven't had much of a problem of coming out of them either. In fact my biggest problem is I get them too tight some times. Good luck on your purchase. That is where I got mine at and got a really good deal on it.

PS. I have a 141 and am 5'11" and 160lbs and I don't think I would want it any smaller.
