Better than WD-40 or Boeshield?

I just came across another good looking product to fight corrosion:

According to a legit professional corrosion organization, Fluid Film is way better than other rust inhibitors like WD-40 and Boeshield T-9:

Supposedly this stuff is more environmentally friendly, too. I'm not in any way associated with someone who sells the stuff, I just spent a ton of time fighting rust when I ran my boat in salt water and thought I would share the info. Some other wakeworld articles are referenced below.

Can you just spray it all over the engine during winter storage?

hate to but in; have you tried LPS1

I did use LPS1 a lot since a friend of mine swears by it. It wasnt listed on any of those charts up there. It seemed to work as well as WD40 or T-9 but it was hard to tell how well it really worked. I sprayed it all over the engine except on belts. I assume you can do the same with other products. I just wanted to share those test results cause it's hard to tell how well anything works unless you start with a brand new engine.

For anyone who runs in salt my biggest suggestion would be to make sure you have NO leaks from any raw water or ballast bag hoses. If possible, fill bags with fresh water or use lead. Eventually your plumbing will spring a leak somewhere.

My dad keep a cabin crusier down ont he coast. Everyone at his dock/marina uses corrosion X HD. they all swear by it for protection.
